Lamma Island is situated only 3km off the south-west coast of Hong Kong Island and it takes only 30 minutes by ferry from both Central and Aberdeen.  

 

From Central to Lamma Island

Depart from Central Pier No.4, there are 2 routes to Lamma operated by Hong Kong Kowloon Ferry:

 

  • Central < - > Yung Shue Wan
  • Central < - > Sok Kwu Wan

 

It takes about 30-40 minutes; tickets available for Adult, Child & Elderly Concession Fare.

From Aberdeen to Lamma Island

Depart from Aberdeen Pier, there are 2 routes to Lamma operated by different ferry company:

 

  • Aberdeen < - > Pak Kok Tsuen < - > Yung Shue Wan (Traway)
  • Aberdeen < - > Mo Tat Wan < - > Sok Kwu Wan (Cheun Kee Ferry)

 

There is one stop for both routes. It takes 30-35 minutes for the whole journey.

From Tsim Sha Tsui / Central to Lamma Island

Lamma Rainbow Seafood Restaurant provides complimentary ferry service for guests navigating between downtown and Lamma Island. Ferry has regular operation schedule and guests need to make reservation in advance. 

 

  • Monday to Friday: Tsim Sha Tsui, Central < - > Sok Kwu Wan
  • Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday: Tsim Sha Tsui, Central, Aberdeen < - > Sok Kwu Wan
